BLACK OR WHITE? Feat ASOS,TAHARI,CHANEL

LOOKING FOR THE EASIEST WAY TO DRESS YOUR CHANEL JUMBO BAG?
Handbag=classic double flap jumbo chanel bag;blazer=taharitop=asos;pants=Asos;shoes=Chanel Loafers(summer 2014 collection)
Although the weather was not agreeing with me and with my hair during my blog shoot, I managed to feel way better about my outfit ;) I have been really wearing the same black on black outfits for the past few months, and changing outfits comes down to a different blazer or Jacket to turn up or turn down my look (yea I said it)..."Turn it up" with your very formal blazer from Macy's by the Designer Tahari who designs some amazing formal pieces if you are looking to get that very smart and elegant look.

This White Blazer is something that you have seen me wear on my previous post with my camel jumpsuit, but I found out it looks even more amazing against a black outfit. It seems to be a little more casual than the black one,but still you get that chic, simple look that never fails!

One of my Subscribers/Follower made me fall in Love with these Chanel Loafers which I thought were just "too much" at first sight. But indeed like she (my subby) said, they definitely "brightens my day"; it is so much more unconventional and definitely turns heads and starts conversations. These shoes may not be found in actual Chanel stores anymore because they belong to the past summer 2014 collection, but they may still be available at Sacks 5th avenue (where I purchased them), Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and more of these designers retail stores. Don't hesitate a to bring a little touch of fun to your outfit with these!

ALMOST BOHO, ALMOST FUNKY, BUT CHIC AND FUN| Featuring Stella Mccartney, YSL, and ASOS

ARE YOU WILLING TO TAKE THE RISK?
Blazer=Asos;Jumpsuit=Asos;bag=cassandre YSL;shoes=Britt Stella Maccartney
What is it about style that some of us cannot seem to get? I believe everyone is playing so safe nowadays  and has set so many rules that there is no true understanding of what style is. Everyone seems to deny growth. Growth is understood to be evolutionary and some of us still do not understand that growth is the simple meaning of Change.It does not mean that your style is getting better or getting worse, as style is very personal and goes along with someone's moods or feelings

Once you set your own rules and live this life of yours according to yourself, you become aware of who you are. That is when you realize you are existing. "cogito er go sum " as he said, stop listening so much to others, and listen to yourself. This obviously also applies to your style.
 It is important to understand that neutrals, black and white are those types of colors that you will use the easiest in your wardrobe. I have received so many looks on the streets about my Stella Mccartney shoes and all I had to say to myself was "Cogito er go sum".

THE TRUTH ABOUT NAIL POLISH| Featuring Christian Louboutin

WHICH NAIL-POLISH DO YOU USE?

I get asked this question asked very often not only in real life but also on youtube. First of all I believe just like good makeup can only be accomplished with good skin, a good nail polish application goes along with a "good nail". Well, fingers are the first thing I notice about anyone secondly, right after I notice their face. That is only because my father has really nice looking fingers that I was by the grace of God able to inherit lol. Jokes aside, a clean and short nail, with a nicely moisturized cuticle are just ideal for a nice, smooth flawless nail application.I won't go into details about how to apply to nail polish because that is only a skill that can be acquired over time of practice.

What Color to use?
I've also understood with many years of experience with cosmetics, that it is okay to have fun with color but it is also safe and somewhat better to go with your skin shade. In other words, the darker you are, the better those really dark and rich colors are going  to look on you. It is also okay to Admit that my caucasian ladies have a rather larger spectrum of choice when it comes to nail colors compatibility. they would look great in a dark black nail polish on a winter night out  as well as with that neon pink under the summer sun rays.

WHAT IS YOUR NAIL TYPE?
My caramel skin ladies are better off with dark browns, dark rich purples, pitch black, wonderfully dark wine colors, dark army green, burgundies and so on...the darker the better.
My yellow skinned ladies(asians, mixed africans or mixed african americans) and caucasians also look wonderful with dark colors and can even easily pull off those really pale pink colors, white pale colors, and very soft pastel colors
My Dark ebony skin babes, are some of the most interesting and exciting cases in the world of beauty. They usually can pull off very bright colors because of the fabulous contrast of fuchsia  colors with the dark color of their skin. That is,  a fuchsia pink color would look phenomenal on ebony skin. But then again all those very dark nail colors will look just as fantastic on ebony skin.

 I have tried many different nail polish brands, and I must admit that The christian Louboutin ones are
pretty Serious. I am amazed by the array of such amazing and unique colors in this line. The packaging is breathtaking and the formula has left me in aweeeeee.....Long story short, if you can afford a $50 Nail polish, go for it, because these are the only Nail polish that will dry in 2 seconds on your nails during those "lazy getting ready sessions" of yours.
 With my Caramel skin, I went for what I think usually looks the best on me...Dark brown...But this ladies and gentlemen is not "just a dark brown"...the magnificent reflective metallic touch of this dark brown nail polish is what made me do it...I am not going to go into details as my nails will speak for themselves :). "Farida" is the color of the month.

A FALL/WINTER OOTD... FT ASOS,GIVENCHY, KENZO &CHANEL

I HOPE TO BE BACK FOR THE LONGEST AND FOREVER:)

top=Kenzo;Blazer=Asos;pants=Asos;bracelets=cartier love bracelet;earings=h&m;shoes=Givenchy rotweiler;handbag=chanel boy

I WISH IT WAS JUST THIS EASY TO EXPLAIN

I have been struggling with everything for the past 4 months; literally everything. School has been very much stressful, and my whole questioning of my purpose in life had taken over as well, many times had I told myself that this is probably not for me. "This" meaning the whole vlogging/blogging thing which I have felt only mattered to me. The reason why I had ever started a social medias journey was solely for interaction. As a depressed new college graduate, I was fascinated by the fact that I could make a new group of virtual friends, interact with others while I was away from home...but what I have realized is the social medias interactions are only abundant when you are not yourself. People seem to appreciate more the fiction version of other people way more than truly who they are. Despite this observation, I rather be myself even if noone cares.
I have decided to put up videos when I feel like it, when I am free from loads of studying, and for my sole pleasure, put up pictures on my blog the same manner, not caring about interactions or about who would care, I believe that's where I am at. I appreciate the few people that have supported me so far, and for the rest, yes, I am now doing things for my own satisfaction.
ANYTHING BETTER THAN A NICE BLACOAT?

Well, I beg to differ...lol, Although I have been literally addicted to that TV series, yes that one, which other one? Scandal with Olivia Pope...Well I am still not too fond of the whole array of  Camel coats submerging instagram and other bloggers platform. I am honestly in the verge of hate for those, and I have not figured out why...probably because how many times I have had to stare at it on some blogposts that were thrown at me on my instagram feeds...Sorry I admit I lost it...Anyway, the point is this blazer which actually is also a coat, is the perfect item for anyone who would like to look dressed up and put together in seconds. Try it, you won't be disappointed :)
 DID YOU SAY POP OF COLOR?

Yes I heard you. And the favourites award goes toooooo...My boy, my rotweiler and of course my kenzo T... Although I am forever a fan of black clothing items, I strongly believe a pop of color is needed this fall and winter...The graphic vibe of my top, the red color of my bag and the colored rotweiler of my shoes are just what I needed. My outfit is laid back, casual but still chic...

MY ANGLED AND ASYMETRICAL TRENDY SKIRT STYLED WITH 2 OPTIONS...

THE BLACK AND WHITE EASE.

top=old find forever 21;skirt=Asos;handbag=Christian Dior lady bag;shoes=Valentino

 I was so fortunate to finally be able to get this skirt from the Asos Sale this summer as I have been eying the same skirt in blue and white last season and that particular one was then sold out when I was ready to purchase it :( well, luckily I got this one which is even better as black and white reflects the ultimate chic color association that goes with every other colors of the spectrum. Check out my latest video on how to dress this skirt many other multiple ways on down below these following posts!
 OR...

You could also keep the handbag black and wear some metallic shoes which will go with anything as it's considered to have a somewhat "neutral color". These mules have been very "IN" this summer and I was glad I got them on sale from Zara, they give the outfit a semi casual feel, less preppy, less formal and just fun as well...

GETTING FUNKY UNDER THE RAIN...

MY VALENTINO-ESQUE BLAZER...
is doing the talking.
It's always fun to add a little bit of playful funkiness to the way we dress, I fell in love with this Asos piece once I layer my eyes upon it and for a 70% sale that was just the "it purchase"...It does remind me a lot of Valentino designs and I thought I would add a bit of color to my life this summer. So, Navy I went...

HOW I STYLE MY NEW SAINT LAURENT HEELS? WELL I'M JUST BLUSHING...

 A CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN DUPE?
Well... it's a "better dupe" in my opinion :)

I was fortunate enough to snatch these during the designer sale at SSENSE in a size 41. I have been wanted to put my hands on the Christian Louboutin studded heels for a while, but I had realize that the studs were a bit "out there" for me, that is the reason why I could not resist my temptation for these new SAINT LAURENT studded heels as the studs are so much more delicate and easier to style day and night. In the morning they look very minimal and chic and,at night they are just gorgeous as they reflect the artificial light, ugh I'm in love, these are the only shoes that adapt to my styling!
HOW MUCH?
You won't believe that I got these for only around 200 bucks! bargain:) as they retail for about a 1000 bucks just like the studded louboutin shoes which unfortunately never go on sale?
Also I believe I spotted these around 300 bucks on farfetch.com so, go ahead and take the plunge! ps: they size quite small so a size up should do :)

HOW I STYLED THEM?
pretty simply...Nudes match pretty well together, so I decided I was going nude lol...no pun intended here ;) the blush colors are just wonderful for the summer and amazing on tanned skin...down below you will find the outfit details...
